what size amp should i get?

i just bought 2 10inch rockford hx2's, and put them in a sub-zero ported box, what size amp should i get and what brand? i'm working with about $400.00 or so...thank u

Well since you like Rockford enough to spend $500 on speakers why not go with a Rockford amp?

Personally, if I were in your shoes... I'd go to http://www.thezeb.com and pick this up http://www.audiobahninc.com/prod/amps/a2150hc.htm for $250.

I have not had good history with Audiobahn relibility and durability so far, but I would reccomend a pretty strong amp that is underratted, kicker 800.2, 800 x 1 @ 2ohms

 

 

and its at a good price on my friends site http://www.kickinaudio.com at $375 shipped, it is definatley underrated, and will probably br closer to 900 watts ture power if not even more, sending atleast 450 to each sub which should hit hard and clean
