ok a couple of days ago i sold a broken ipod mini on ebay..... i stated in the auction it was broken and sold as is.... i also listed the problems i knew about which were that when it gets plugged into the computer it freezes up. so apparently she got it today and says that the hard drive needs to be replaced and asked if i could refund some of her money what does i do?

well if you stated that it was a broken Ipod and listed the problems, and was to be sold "as is" then you don't have to do anything at all, she knew what she was getting herself into when she bought it.

So you called apple and they said they could fix it? So you obviously knew it was a messed up harddrive, and then how/why didnt you follow up on it and send it to get fixed if it was under warranty and if it wasnt then atleast know what it might cost?

You arent obligated to do anything obviously, but it seems you left some stuff out of the auction, either that or you are just impatient and bad with money...

But he did state that it is sold "as is" if i were the buyer of that ipod i would have asked what was wrong and then decide whether or not to buy it. Its a buyers error not the sellers
Did ya even read my post?...
