Should I get two type-r 12's for around $150, recone my AQ HDC3 12" for $80 or a DC lvl 4 15" for my HDC3+cash? I'd rather not spend a whole lot of money. These would be run off my 2010D so that good for around 1800w and will build corresponding boxes for them. I realize the type-rs would be the loudest but would the DC lvl 4 come close? So yeah help me choose.

Figure out how you blew the sub and address that. Then get a recone.

SSF was at 30hz, sub was broken in for a few weeks with 1000w, 1700w later, broken. I guess I should have broken it in for a year that way I could say it wasn't my fault.

its all here but they can take more than rated especially if u get the lvl5 coils, id put 1200-1500 on them.

Anyone know how hard it would be to recone to a 15" AQ HDC3? I know the magnets are the same but can I buy a basket from AQ?
