18inch JL Audio W3 vs. 2 12inch Memphis Mojo's

I can get two memphis mojo's from a buddy for 200 bucks with a box, or one JL Audio 18inch W3 for 150, which would u guys recommend?

I dunno how old it is, but it's supposed to handle like 500 watts rms, although for some reason when he had it hooked up it sounded like alot more

also the mojo's are 12 inch 2 ohm i believe

if the mojos are "dual" 2 ohm then you are going to want to find an amp that does around 2000watts at 2 ohm or one that can run at .5 ohm daily.

kickers amps make power at 2 ohms I believe and so do memphis' amps

I wouldnt recommend running .5ohm since you say you are a newb and its hard on your electrical system, but if you are interested, I have a fusion amp that will run .5ohm with minimal electrical upgrades http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=364072&page=2 it just needs a small fix
