What rms would be safe to run on this sub..?

however i no that subs usually can take more than the rated power

this is in a ported box any tips would be greatly appreciated

300w or so would be fine for daily beating. I'm sure it could handle more, but much beyond that and you'd stand a good chance of damaging the woofer if you're not careful.

300-350 is safe. I've seen people giving em 400, but you gotta be easy on the settings.

i had a pair of pr12 running off a pr1.1000 at 1ohm and they took the power just fine...

Those arent' really beater subs. I would stay around 250 rms if I were you.

i ran 2 in a 5 cube sealed box on an old st-1000d with no problems. no funkiness whatsoever. they were seeing a steady 550 watts each. but I am sure they would sound fine off 250 each if you are nervous.

Depends if your gonna send them a clipped signal. Are you gonna use bass boost or the "LOUD" button on your HU?

thanks guys is there any specific way without expensive equipment to figure out when it's starting to clip i no ive heard listen for distortion but i dont no what im listening for
