There is, i just looked at the website since its installed already.... so since the whole was covered up, that could be a cause?

Yep. that hole being covered would provide a problem when it came to proper cooling. You could have fried something if you played it loud. That hole is there so hot hair can be pushed out and cool air sucked into that open area, providing air cooling for the voice coils.

LOL exactly..... next time I turned my car on though the NINe.1 goes on for a second then when the volume is turned up, went into protect....

5 min later, went back in, everything was fine!! AGHHH!!
