What makes a speaker IB capable?

im not talking about having a trunk that vents to the outside...im talking about cutting a hole in the bottom of your trunk and then building a water/dirt and grime sheild and mountin the sub inverted to protect the motor structure.

So i will stand behind what i said. Soft suspension means less power to reach your full displacement capeabilty.

I knew exactly what you were talking about and since the cabin of the car is STILL sealed, the cabin of the car will affect the response of the sub. The effect will be pretty close to immeasurable as well as would the effeect of an enclosure larger than the Vas of the driver, thus my point.

Hmm, I guess what it comes down too is that the trunk does still act as an enclosure, but the overall F/R will still be close to IB, probably close enough to not be audible.
