oooo so excited. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif just bought a orion extreme 300 off ebay for cheap. couldnt find much info on it on google and i would like to know what kind of wiring i need for this amp. 4ga or 8ga? will 4ga work because i went to my local futureshop last week and they have a sale on rockford pro amp wiring kit for $40cdn. they have 8ga but it'll cost $100 with taxes.

thank you!

i guess ya'all need some info for it

300 Watt 2 Channel power amplifier

Proprietary HIGH CURRENT PRS power supply

Continuously variable HP, LP, or BP crossover network with INTELLi Q

Remote gain

Selectable auxiliary outputs

Bridgeable 3, 2 or 1 chanel operation

jee whiz, i can't find any info on the exact specs. that's the closest i could find! anyways i think it'll be about 300 more less watts rms @ 4 ohms bridged which is how i will be running my configuration

8 gauge would probably be fine... maybe but i always say when in doubt use thicker wire. I personally use 4ga for everything exept for the main wire to my current system with is 1ga or 2ga cant remember which. Im thinking 8 guage will be fine though but 4 guage wouldn't hurt at all.

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
