Fi is a car audio brand I think... they made the HC atleast I'm 65.77% sure and they use copper clad rubidium VC's and polethypropelyneglycol cones and argon baskets... all the good stuffs... Cotjones tolded me he has 1 10" 1 12" and 2 18's so he can hear all the base!

Have no clue what an FI is, but that sub is without a doubt (even with copious CA fumes inhaled today) and HC. Solid subs if in good shape.

That is a gen 3 HC i believe, right before they started making the sx's. I paid 200$ for mine used like 2 years ago, and mine was a V2 with the big plastic **** dustcap. They were built by RE for Onyx... The owner of Onyx didnt pay for them, so RE slapped on that black steel backplate and called it the HC.

Scott Attwell who started with RE (Resonant Engineering) left them when they sold out and their prices went up. HE started FI and is now joining AA (Ascendant Audio) to help them. Since the FI website is still up, I think what he is doing is working as a build house for both his company,FI, and Ascendant Audio. However its going to be middle to late summer before AA comes out with their new line of subs

and here's the link for AA, nothing up at the moment but a notice about Scott coming to them.

And it's "Fi" not "FI". Hence the reason Scott said he had no idea what an FI is.
