What Kind of Car Holds the Best System?

i have a 98 v6 mustang with back seats that fold down. the set-up is perfect for a sweet system, i just wish i had better equipment. so, good gas milage, cheap insurance (not sports car if v6), under 7k easily, great for system, and the best part of all, ITS AMERICAN!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

you mean worst of all its american... hehehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/patriotic.gif.b47a6e0394a3738334c387bdf79409f4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsdown.gif.d22f25895e9b40f2300c953691dacfa2.gif

the civic is really the perfect car for reliability & insurance...

I actually was thinking about getting a Del Sol, but I would like to see pics of systems people have already put in them. I dont think there would be enough space. Also, I dont want a mustang because too many people at my school already have them. I am considering the Del Sol, Honda Civic, and the Chevy Monte Carlo. Does anyone else know of any other cars that hold nice systems?

let's see what i can claim...

few hundred cubic feet of available space for a box

half-ton truck suspension to carry basically anything i can fit in there

135A stock alternator (although with SUVs, this isn't impressive at all)

excellent insurance cost (noncommercial insurance on a commercial vehicle = really cheap)

don't be hatin' on the Fords //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

just wish it was a 5spd and 4x4...*sigh*, i guess that's what they make pickup trucks for...

I don't have anything as good as Jack's vehicle, but I do drive an oldschool Grand Caravan SE with around 125 cu. ft. airspace. I also sport a massive box that includes my amp, its about 20 cu. ft. and around 250 lbs.

The local audio shop has a civic hatch like 1990 or so that is walled off. full custom fiberglass. 6 eclipse 15's and 6 eclipse amps. 15" screen molded into the middle of the dash. full alpine type x component sets, and a second pair of tweets on the middle of the dash. I think their loudest legal (windows up, mic on dash) was about a 163db.

then they could shut all but one of the subs off with a switch and have incredible sound quality and imaging. the car is incredible. best of both worlds.

I still vote lincoln town car. I love em.

or a van. get like a 1978 chevy van and paint it flat brown and put shag carpet in it. HAHA
