as long as it peaks in the mid 40s i dont care what it tuned to

i had my 15 tuned to 40hz and peaked at 46hz

my 18 is tuned to 36hz and peaks at 46hz

YEA lol. cvx 12 in 2.4 to 38-39 hz.it is a prefab,but its the best sounding prefab i've ever heard considering it came tuned to 32hz with double stacked 3/4 mdf.it was too low for me,had something like 3" wide by 11.5 tall by about 30 long port.i modified it so it sounds a whole lot better.got rid of the lips on the vent,cut out bout 13" of back port,sanded all down,even came with some good terminals.just getting rid of the lips alone made a huge improvement in sound.it was 119 shipped from mobile soundworks.with the box and my single 12,it weighs close to a 100 lbs.and i went on kickers sight,and its allmost exactly the same as one of their designs.at the time,i didnt have the tools to build my own box,and wasnt going to pay 250 for abox from local audio store for them to build me one.so i figured,what the hell,i'll give this box a shot until i could get better.but after i modified it,its a keeper.and it does great on lows.reason i modified it,cause 32hz was too low for me.you could feel it more than you could hear it.i like the inbetween.feel and hear with force lol.
