what is the cheapest DD woofer?

just wondering cause i found a FS thing here at school and this kid is selling 4 DD woofers and an amp for $375....im guessing its not 4 9515's so i was thinking about maybe picking it up and selling the woofers here...i emailed him but whats the cheapest the 1508?

the DD 510's and 512's are DD's cheapest subs...The 510's sell for around $120 new the 512's around $130 new...

the 1508's are 140+ each for the svc

most places will charge 150-160 each

the dvc 1508's are about $15 more than the svc

the cheapest subs DD would have are the 500 series

I tell you one thing, I am extremely impressed with the used dd1010 that arrived via Fedex last night! It is a shame that all the local shops are pushing JL, Kicker, Memphis, and Diamond because there are much better subs to be had for the price!

I have a pair of JL Audio 10w3v2s that I came real close to throwing in the trash. They sure lack sub bass output for a supposedly SQ sub with each in a .75 cubic foot sealed enclosure! I got a great deal on them used, but if I had paid MSRP for them, I would have been pissed!

Jl is a celebrity sub. They can afford them and not have to worry about it. If you did a build with them and did the same with dd, same power box, vehicle and all that dd on top by a lot. And sony shouldn't even be in this thread lol

The sad thing is that it only took ONE phone call to sell those POS 10w3v2 subs! The local JL audio fanboi syndrome runs deep in this town and I was able to sell them for $10 more than I paid for them...

ETA: One more thing to add. The DD entry level SPL sub fit my needs much better than JL Audio's entry level SQ sub. It seems that JL Audio's SQ motto is that "SQ = NO sub bass!" Granted, the 13w6v2 in my Mustang is a totally different beast and I actually like it! The 10w3 series can choke on it!
