I only need 2 channels. So much snakeoil and unscientific anecdotes. Someone please help! ;-;

If low price and sq are the parameters. Look for used amps. Anything by ZED Audio, a/d/s, US Amps, Audio Art, Orion. Keep in mind that alot of other great amps fall under the ZED Audio name i.e. Hafler, Hifonics, Pyramid, Boss, Autotek. So make sure they have built by ZED on the board. Also, most sq amps are not made to rock the block, so do not expect 300-500 watt amps out there. Good luck.

Zed audio amps are junk. Always was and always will be.

No, in the house. US Amps and an Audio Art. Connect them every once in a while to a set of a/d/s 6.5s and my phone. Usually get lost for an hour or so. Ran across a class a amp in a pawnshop a while back, did not get it because it was a brand named Furi. Had never heard of it. Went back for it but it was gone.

The problem with Zed is not how they sound but the notorious failure rate. Even after 3 revisions; the leviathans were still highly unreliable and so was their "too advanced" series they made for ESX. Over half of their amps I see for sale are for parts.

Oh, I see. I do not have experience with those. Out of my price range. Just the older models which I really like and are more affordable because of their age. Same with Linear Power, want one but can not see myself paying $500 for one.

You are aiming for an upgrade so why would you want to purchase a cheap product? If it is out of budget as of the moment then it will be better for you to save.
