have you not read any of the other experiences of other people and sonys subs? or are you just going to ignore that and goto only my experience so you can say that’s all i have backing me up and prove your asinine point?
You mean in the same mannor in which you fail to read that
ANY Speaker can be made to sound good or bad by install?
To elaborate further, had you
READ my initial post, you would notice that I used to do real world evaluation on Sony Products for their distributors. I've had more Sony Gear pass through my hands than most dealers carry.
Yet simply because you allege to have one product fail, my point is now assinine?
The only thing assinine here is how easily people dismiss an entire brand without due cause.
and lets not forget too look at how easy it is to blow a sony sub? Meka, who is by no means an idiot and has no problem with installs blew his shitty little sony subs... is he an idiot?
Exactly what is your point here? One driver can fail just as easy as another.
I do not know "Meka" or the events of the circumstance, therefore I can not comment on that matter.
On the other hand, swing on by one night. I'll show you how easy it is to blow a 12w6 or a Shiva if you like.
Your statement here is irrelevant.
ive had the same problem with their door speakers, and yes, i know how to install shit. 18 watts destroyed them... attribute it to whatever you want, after that i got some pioneers which were cheaper and they lasted a few years...
That's the initial problem.
EVERYONE on this forum "knows" how to install everything correctly.
EVERYONE on this forum "knows" how to tune a system.
EVERYONE on this forum has been doing this a while.
EVERYONE on this forum has used every piece of equipment out there.
Fact is, a small handfull of people on this forum qualify for a few of the above statements. Most simply "think" they do.
18 watts destroying your Sony Door Speakers immediately raises a red flag in my book. Abuse resulting from clipping or overdriving the speakers is far more likely in this case than anything else. Considering that no recent Sony Midrange Speaker is rated anywhere near that low of power.
I believe the term "Volume Master" was dubbed for this action on this forum a while back.
if sonys products could play ball with the rest of the kids there wouldn't be near the trash talking, there starting to step up but havn't quite gotten there. i dont care who your a fanboy for, just dont tell me all those blown subs and speakers are all because of the user, thats ignorant.
Ignorance is assuming that the majority can install, tweak, tune, and adjust, their system and it's components properly.
Can't play ball?
SEMA thought otherwise:

go ahead and make a rebuttal, just dont try and say your backing it up with facts.
And where have your "factual" statements resided?
