what is better

hi to all......

i was wondering what would be better for spl and sq. i would like to get one of these choices in subwoofers

4 15's fosgates hx power or 4 kicker's L7's or should i go with 12's.

they will go in a 98 suburban. let me know what you guys think is the best choice and if i should go ported or seal. thank you guys........

i know the L7's are good in SPL...i dont like its SQ...never heard the fosgates though...

out of those choices, i say port a couple of l7's and call it a day...

What is your budget? Why do you want FOUR 15's? You could get the same result with a pair of high end 15's in a nice, big ported box.

I have heard that those Power HX2's can get loud as shit... I had/have two Punch HX2 12's, and they are extremely loud with 1000w to power them. I have never heard the Power's, but it would be close between those and some L7's, both are high SPL subs.

well read the top and you'll see.... i had two hx 15's 500 rms. they hit good i just did not like the box it was ported but i think that i was not big enough. but i want more power so i want the get the power ones they hold 1000 rms.

L7's, much cheaper than the powers and will get just as loud.

Might I ask are you going with the Stage1 or 2's?

am not looking for the new models..the old ones are better with the 2 inch fat rubber around them... i know L7's will sound too but i dont know there's a lot of kickers refurb's and that makes me wonder if is the sub or how people power then. my friend had 2 L7's 12's with each a kicker 600 and blew then out.....
