What is better Old Rockfords or New Rockfords?

Speaker,Amp, Tweeters, Sub etc... wise....

Someone told me that old rockford subs are better than the new ones. I have old rockfords but never experience the new ones. But they look awsome though!

not sure bout the subs....but the old amps are more over rated than the new ones....

I think the new Fosgate subs are better than the old ones just because of past experiences. The old Fosgate amp to me are more powerful. The subs are better because of what the cones are made of and the new oversized magnets.

new rockford speaker's whip the tail off old one's, new amps are closer to the right wattage then the old one's but never overheat. my 1000 watt mono block class bd has NEVER gotten even warm and i'm talking texas heat it still stays cool. as far as subs go i like the new one's more simply for cone material like the last guy said.

Old school Rockford subs are pretty kick a$$ but I have to say the new ones are better simply because they are designed better. :veryhappy
