What is better for my Amp/Sub???

Both of these setups sounds identical and blend with my front stage........

1. Amp gain at 1/2 and the HU bass setting at +1.

2. Amp gain at 3/4 with HU bass setting at 0.

Which setting is better for the amp/sub? Gain up more to blend with highs/mids, or lowering the gain and adding in bass with the HU?

I would keep it at 1/2 and adjust with HU

It depends what your front stage can handle... if theyc an handle the +1 on the deck and still sound good, do it. If they dont like the bass try turning up the crossover on your sub to like 85 and then turn the HU down and the Amp UP

Honestly......it sounds almost identical. I like the way it sounds either way......I just wanted to know what is the better setup......SQ wise and if one way or the other is just the better solution. I adjusted the gain according to the basic amp setup, and have been tweaking it. My system sounds the best with the two options above, now to select one and leave it alone.
