What Amp to push IDQ12 D2.V2

I need an amp to push my IDQ12 D2.V2 (sub) in a Q-Logic QLH-1.0012 (1.0 cubic feet) sealed enclosure. I have been using my old Lightning Bolt B2.300.2 (bridged) but it's very floppy. Upper range sounds awful. I have to cross it at below 60 just to make it listenable. I need something that is stable down to 1 ohm. I have a small car so I am pretty sure it will need to be an efficient amp, perhaps D class mono. Looking for best bang for the buck. Some amps I have considered are Phoenix Gold Xenon, Directed, Viper and Orion. Open to other ideas here. How many watts will be required to sufficiently push this sub. ID states they recommend 100 to 500 watts. They recommend .55 - 1.00 cu. for sealed enclosure. I listen to everything from Metal to Mozart. I just want a solid low end that can handle whatever I throw at it from pipe organ to hip hop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some ideas I found:

I would find the amp that puts out the most amount of power that you can afford. You don't really NEED a ton of power for that IDQ, but just realize that doubling the power will result in a 3db gain in output. I think an honest 500-600 watts will allow you to see the full potential of that sub.

It is a dual 2 ohm version? Then maybe find a cheap 2 channel and bridge it to 4 ohms. What is your budget for a new amp???

Also, the prices at Ikes are very attractive, but the risk you take with them is not worth it IMO.

Thanks for the replies. I would not mind going as high as $300 if it would really make my sub shine. I Just want to get all I can out of the IDQ while not taxing the alternator.

Would you run that VIper at 4ohm or 1ohm?

Rated Power @ 4 ohm: 275 x 1

Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 400 x 1

Rated Power @ 1 ohm: 600 x 1
