What Is A Good Amp For...

What would be a good amp to power 2 AQ HDC3 12s WITH a idiot at the controls!!! LOL no seriously though, I see all these videos and they are running like 3000+ 4000+ to these subs, what could I run that would pound, daily driver min. play time of 30min+ and be safe on the subs... don't want them to be under powered neither...

Before you can run 3kW-4kW you need to have the electrical support to make it possible. What have you done for that in your vehicle?

those subs are 1krms, you most likley will be better off running 2 amps either 1 amp per sub or strapping the amp to get 2ohms, how much is your budget? depending on budget you might get a big enough amp to run both sub

everything accept 2nd batt, and h.o. alt, (got factory 160amp h.o. alt)

I'd like to keep it around 300... but anything under 500 would be nice, I have a ARC SE4000d but have a feelin that I'll blow them if I put that on there as I have a tendency of going crazy with the remote when provoked!!! lol

I would rather have used and quality, than new and dirty...

I don't build loud systems but I know that ain't gonna cut it. You might be on the edge of supporting a 2kW amp for test tones, and a bit higher RMS power on music. @mylows10;

yeah I figured, but I'd like to get amp, subs and box together, then just go drop the car off somewhere and say do this this etc... lol

those arc amps are very nice, at 2 ohms its running 2300w that should be perfect for those AQ @2ohms

Agreed the arc amp will be your best bet. With the limited budget for a 2 ohm amp. Unless you can find another older mean machine 4000 Your gonna need more cash

Personally I'd invest that money in a HO alt

Batteries are nice but they're just a "bandaid" in my opinion.
