Help, Amp for the new IDQ12?

Either going to get a single idq10 version 4 (550 watts rms) or possibly the idq12 v4 (750 watts rms), what power would be best to power either the 10 or 12 inch?? Probably going to go with the new 12" and have heard a that the image dynamics idq subs go best underpowered or at what their rms rating is. Is this true? Any any recommendations on a good match mono amp for the 10 or 12 inch, prefer alpine as my four channel is.
