WHAT inline fuse size PLZ HELP

Can someone tell me what size fuse i will need for this amp, if you need anymore info ill get it im just confused on the size, wire will be 1/0 (if that matters)

if your running anymore then 2000+ watts a 300 amp fuse

so if your not running over 2000 watts but have 0 gauge wiring can you still use a 300 amp fuse?

The point of a fuse is to protect the wire and thus the car itself in the event of a short. The output of the alt is totally irrelevant to the discussion, actually. 1/0 cable can carry more current safely than most any alt can output. The real danger isn't the output of the alt, but that of the battery. Even a smallish car battery can dump enough current into a short to melt 1/0 wire. That's why you fuse the wire next to the battery, it is there to cut the current before the point of the short.

Makes sense. I was thinking of the alt to batt connection on the BIG 3. I was told to fuse just over what my HO alt will put out...

I always add up the fuses of my amp or amps. Then go with a fuse for o gauge wire that is the closest but higher than the sum of amp fuses.
