What HO alt???

I have a 5.4L F150 2001 series and looking for an HO alt. What out there is the biggest and best output that will do rated output and good price. If you know the price please list. Hoping to spend less than 500.

300-400 would be ideal.

Try ebay for alts around 300

Fad 260 amp does 160 idle.

I was also telling you to torque your spark plugs to prevent them from blowing out. Happened to me twice.

Ford decided to use stupid spark plugs with 5 threads lol so sometimes they get lose and pop out, now you have stripped threads. So either helicoil or an equivalent, or buy a new head....

So to be safe, check them every 6 months or so. Make sure you torque to spec.
