What HO alt???

What HO alt need alot at idle mainly

Not sure if it's stated or not but Mechman builds out of Powermasters shop. So they are virtualy the same. Although Mechman tends to help with the car audio needs a little better then a Powermaster REP.

 
is a powermaste 200 amp max and 125 at idle for 200 bucks shipped good deal?

Will the 125 at idle and 200 max be enough for 4k watts on an alt that does that, and with a spv70 in the back 2 runs of 1/0 to the back, to a spv70, and a gold duralast upfront big 3 done in 1/0 might do double run of that.

What kind of voltage would do have at idle full tilt, if needed going to add a MLA or a bigger battery upfront or put the spv70 upfront and a big batt in the back, only have room for a battery with the same dimensions as the spv70 or smaller

 
FAD - but those are 499
Try ebay for alts around 300

Fad 260 amp does 160 idle.

I have a 5.4L also - get those plugs torqued!
Do you keep psoting up everywhere to try an FAD alternator?

Also that output at idle is weak-sauce:wow:.

My DC's do at idle what your's does at 2krpm and I paid less then whats listed for a FAD.

I have a 300+ amp alt for each one of my 40.1's plus 3 Data Safe 500's.Sorry to say, but that alternator isn't going to keep up. Also I wouldn't go through summitracing.com The alternators there aren't so much intended for car audio use.

 
this powermaster alt is from mechman 200 shipped NIB for the 125 at idle and 200 max.

Whats it gonna take to keep up with that 40.1, any other amps out there efficient enough to be able to work with that alt? This is what makes me want to give up on car audio lol

Dude that's 165 amp at like 700rpm.......if there's somethin better let me know.

And its a 260amp alternator --- and thats at like 1500 rpm.....so you're telling me your alternator does 260amp at idle...lmao give me a break.
