I've personally owned an Iraggi for almost 3 years and only had good things to say about them. CS for me was always very good, seems like it was hit and miss with them though from the many other bad reviews. I've also owned a Mechman for like 2 months now and also only good things to say about them. I've had great luck with both companies and will continue to back either one in the future.

That said I've never heard a single back thing about DC Linc, Power, Powermaster, or Ohio Gen so i wouldn't hesitate buying from them either.

Ok, so I sent him an ebay message asking if he could make an alternator that does 250-300amps - and still have the 200a at idle.....this was his response:

"Yes we do run 1.8" pulley on our performance Alternators. If this unit is being used for a Ford application we have a FAD230amp alternator that will do an honest 150@ idle. If you need monster power then we can do dual alternators on most ford V/8 appilcations. This will give you 300amps @ idle. Give us a call Free @ 888-441-0144 and one of us will be glad to help you resolve you charging system issues. Thanks, Dave"

its between mechman, dc power, and dc interlinc.

Mechman

200 amp Powermaster brand (clearance model # 57764) = $203 shipped (Reg. – 125 amps at idle

$339)

200 amp ProPower = $299 shipped -- 125 amps at idle

250 amp Rhino series = $399 shipped -- 150 amps at idle

300 amp Comp series = $449 shipped – 100 amps at idle

DB interlinc

$385 shipped for something that he said does 100-150 at idle and 250-300 max couldnt give me a specific amp output whats up with that??

Waiting on dc power to email me back gonna call tommorow.

EA alt prices

200 amp $345

250 amp $425

300 amp $495

waiting for email back on what they do at idle

is there a general rule of thumb when it comes to amps per watts like

1000 wrms= X amp alt

2000 wrms= X amp alt

3000 wrms= X amp alt

ect.

and where is a good place to look for chevy alts?
