I have heard lot's of the 700 series and 600 series and 300 series. I also listened to a pair of 800 series towers, but who has 10k laying around for those. I am in no way saying b&w speakers aren't phenomenal, but I preferred the sound of the Paradigm Studio series over the equivalent price point in a B&W. I'm sure as the price point increases the differences also increase, but in the $1500 per pair range they are fairly similar- to my ears the B&W's sounded more warm and fat, whereas the Paradigms that I bought sounded more accurate, especially in the top end. I guess this is why there are so many speaker companies, everyone's tastes differ, but to you guys that want to crack me like I must be deaf, you can kiss my pucker I have just as much right to my opinion as you do and I went back and forth between some 805's and Studio 40's and just preferred the clarity of the Paradigms. Sorry if you disagree. My brother's system is all B&W's and sounds great, mine is all Paradigm Studio (can't even compare them to the cheap-*** monitor series) and sounds great as well. The Paradigm Signature series are even better still and also compete with B&W in the higher price points.
