What HDTV do you use?

i've never experimented either

we use hdmi for our dvd player, and component for the cable, and both work equally well

and scart and rgb couple the supposed worst of both technologies, by using analog THROUGH twisted pair opposed to a coax cable, and i've yet to have problems with a computer display looking anything less than perfect, so i guess you can take any criticism with a grain of salt unless you're planning a 50 foot ratsnest behind your entertainment center

I have a year and a half old toshiba 65" hd with hdmi input.. LOVE IT. Even though it is a projection screen, the picture is amazing to me. I picked it out of about 30 wide screens at best buy and loved the picture. Then I saw it was one of the cheaper units *LOL* made it even better, Bought it that same day.. Going to use it until I can get somthing else for a reasonable price in the 65" range that has a mucho better picture which will be pretty hard as it is already great.

Just received my 37" Syntax Olevia today. Pretty nice unit for less than $670 shipped

I only have it hooked up with s-video at 480i right now, but I have some component cables on the way to change all that.

I have no idea what the different input resolutions are, i just know more is better and progressive is better than interlaced or something like that.

This is my first step into HD cause I have been more than happy for 8 years with my 40" Mitsubishi tube. I have been meaning to go read up on all the different resolution options, but I havent had a chance yet.

When I hit the display button it says my modded xbox is sending a 480i signal to the monitor and it is hooked through svideo and optical. I am getting a component cable for the xbox and my dvd recorder tommorrow.
