What happened to this place?

It's funny because when I originally became a member on here I was thinking car audio was dead. I'd have to say it is now dead for certain except just a few stragglers here and there. It's quite sad to me. I spend most of my teenage years and early 20's building systems and competing. My friend owned a shop and I was there all the time helping out. Oh well I can't live in the past. Although I do miss those days of the early 90's until about 2002.
those were the days...car audio will never see a decade like that again

I can understand why people say what they do about car audio but I, to some part, disagree.

I don't think car audio is dead, it is just changing and we haven't caught up yet. Customers/People are not informed any more on what they need in their car, and they find little to no help out there in the place they frequent the most. Hell most don't even know what you can do in a car any more, because very little are showing them. Some retail locations are adjusting and doing well, but I have not seen many people make the changes necessary YET to keep this industry going in the right direction.

Thats just my 3 cents though
