Congratulations, your engine has a new *******. Go to your local junkyard and pick up a same year, same model engine and swap the pig out. I wouldn't rebuild it.

it was a cherokee with the 4.0 straight six

never really drove it too aggresivly (sp).

and to the guy who was being a dick earlier. i could post it on NAXJA if i wanted to, however, i felt like lightening the situation by posting it somewhere where i would get flamed to death. would you like me to get you a spoon so you can eat sh1t and die?

honestly i've never had a problem with any of the 3 cherokee's ive had until now. (other than minor shit like electronic ***** controllers in the 98-01 models)

I'm going to look at an engine today. They only want 350 for it so i'm assuming its a junkyard engine but as long as it's the same year, as long as its not a total piece, it should work out.

just swap it, really its easy, just time consuming with all the accesories, brackets, wiring connections, etc.

i was going to do the swap myself

i just bought the engine for 350. theyre pulling it out of a same year cherokee classic.

my dad, for some reason, feels obligated to help me do the swap so he said that as long as he doesnt have to help with the swap, he'd help me pay for Bcraft to swap it. (****ing 721 bucks)

i'm kinda pissed because i dont have that kinda money right now and it pretty much guarantees that my band wont be able to tour this summer but oh well.
