what happen to subwoofer

i was wondering what happen to my subwoofer. when it plays the sub keeps making a poppin noise even when the volume is all the way down it stills make that poppin noise. i check the ground and wires for the amp and its fine. i was wondering what is the problem

sounds like a cheap sub and it being driven to over excursion....

yea its maybe a cheap sub its a diamond audio d3. should i try a new sub or check the inside

have you pulled it out of the box? check the spiders. i had some cheap subs that i ripped the spiders on and they made a popping noise
