what gauge sub wire

i am running two 12" l7's so 1500rms total and wondering what size speaker wire should be good to run to them to get the most power to them as possible i am using 16 guage cheap walmart stuff right now

would this work, and is that double stranded speaker wire or just one single run

speaker wire will always have a pos and neg side. it's not like a single wire.

12ga should be plenty

12g is good. I run 8g if i can just because.

I'd triple up the run if I were you...

you will gain roughly 18 peak watts by switching from 16ga to 12ga. that will net around 0.02 dbs.
