what gauge for components, 50watts?

What model DLS' ?They need very little power to pound.

The tweeters are super loud as well, even on the -3dB setting
heh, well, i got the bottom of the line ones...i think they're called c6.

crap, by super loud tweeters, do you mean "pierce your ear" loud??

Your PG wire will work great. You don't need 16, but since you have it, by all means, use it.
So its not like 16 gauge is too thick?? I do have the pg wire, but was afraid that it might be inefficient or something since there wasn't too much power going through it...i mean i can easily pick up some 18g schosche wire from walmart for like 4 bucks, so I'm not really worried about leaving my pg wire sitting around, I know some people that could use it.

You could use 1/0 if you wanted, technically, the bigger the better, but audibly - with 50w wire as small as 20 would get it done w/minimal loss. However, 14-18 would work great, be affordable (or already paid for), and would allow for a pretty substantial upgrade w/o rewiring.

C6's probably use a smaller tweeter than the MS6.

I had to turn the treble down on the EQ,its flat. Pierce your ear loud if not properly eq'd
