what fuse type

ahh i didnt know that, why do they even ask that then lol
Because some larger amps do not come with fusing built into the amp, and as a result need an external fuse on the wire.

Amp= Watts/Volts100=1200/12

You will need about 100 to 120 amp fuse. Any more and you are defeating the purpose of the fuse.
False.

What if the amp doesnt have a fuse.
He is running 1200W, do you really think that the amp doesn't have a fuse? I already clarified on that earlier:

He has a AQ1200D. It has built in fusing.
