what fuse do i need?

I have a stinger fuse holder ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Stinger-HPM-MIDI-Fuseholder-Digital-Voltage-Amperage_W0QQitemZ170198695790QQihZ007QQcategoryZ50551QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem )

It has 0 Gauge in the input and output and i'm going to be running a 300w amp and in about a month another 500w amp on top of that. I don't know what fuse to get since it accepts 30-175 amps and I don't know what determines what fuse you need.

Add up the numbers that are on the fuses of your amplifier(s) and the total should be the size of your fuse in your fuse holder.

you base fuse ratings on the wire size you are using.

from your post you will be running 1/0 so that usually calls for 200-300 amp fuses.

so 175 would be the best choice for your application.
