what electrical upgrades do I need for this monster build?

4 sp4 18s on 4 sound qubed 3500s. how much batteries, what size batteries, alt, and size of fuzes. im not a noob when it comes to car audio however I am a noob when it comes to a build of this size.

triple 320/350 amp alts, 800 amp hours of batteries(less if you go XS power), sky high 2/0 ofc dedicated runs. Bare minimum for a demo car of 14k

really? man, im really thinking twice if I should go with sp4s. they need so much to get them moving. not only that, if I was to go with 4 then I wouldn't have any back seats. I don't want a 2 seater! not only would a standard slot ported box take up all space from behind the 2 front seats all the way to the rear hatch doors but where the fk would I put a **** load of batts and amps.. I was talking it over with a buddy of mine, I was stuck between havoc 18s and sp4 18s, I decided to go with the havocs because they require less power, and can handle a little more than rated only if its clean power. I decided im gna do 4 havoc 18s on 2 soundqubed 3500s I know ill still need to upgrade my alternator and still have several batteries but at least I wont need triple alts and a ton of batts. it will still smash lows. if my CVRs were flexing car doors that were 5 feet away from me im pretty sure 4 18s would be crazy but I don't care about flexing. im all about clean loud lows

who says SP4s need a lot of power to get moving?



You just assumed they need a 3500 on each whereas a single 3500 can make them all dance if in a proper box with a lot of port area and air space. That advice was given to run 4 3500.1s amps safely not how to run 4 sp4 18s.

ive never under powered any subs that Ive ever owned. that's just not me, i either give them rated or a little more. if I cant give a true 3k+ to those sp4s I wont do it.

4 3500s amps I'd want 2 350amp alts and and at least 5 3100d batts.. I ran 2 8ks at 1ohm each with 2 350alts and 5 batts and could hold 12.4v at 2k rpm . I'm about to drop it down to .5ohm per amp with new woofers and see how it holds up.

our definition of loud is the bass that crushes your chest and throats and makes girls cream themselves. Low lows feel like you are in a hurricane+ tornado and wiggles your ears but thats it. There's literally zero low lows on normal music. I cant find myself listening purely to decaf and slow n throw 24/7, I'd go crazy and kill myself.

Just don't tune too low with those subs, they start to lose output up top the lower you go.

What year corolla do you have? I tried fitting a single 15 in my 04' corolla and simply could not work because of trunk opening.

like gary killian? like 158 at 20hz? im not interested in those kinda lows. I would how ever wanna hit 150+ at 26hz. and like 155+ at 30hz. and I don't like bass that chokes you, I don't know to me it seems to common. that's all you hear at stop lights is high bass notes from a pair of 12s in a douchebag ricer car. I have a list of decaf songs of pure 30hz songs in my ipod. I don't like pure lows I mean that would be boring. some high notes here and there, those are the kinda songs I like. a bit of everything. and yeah I wouldn't tune to low, the lowest id go is 29hz. and my corolla is an 03, I have a cvr 15 in a 3.5 cubft box tuned to 30hz, and yes the trunk was to small to fit that box in so I built it inside. I threw some wood glue on it so theres no way that thing Is coming out now, gna have to cut it up.
