Razor knife perhaps? Very cheap at Wally World. Cheapest tool you will find for the job I bet.

I use one of those utility knives that looks like a pocket knife. Costs like $5 and I actually use it for everything

no way you can use your teeth on it. im gonna start using a utility knife. i was using one side of scissors today to slice throught the insulation. it slipped, and i sliced my index finger down to the knuckle and ended up with 6 stitches.

i got a nice set of klien tools 1/0-4ga wire cutter's... cut's like a hot knife threw butter on the biggest wire.. love em... i use that to strip my bigger wire... WITH THA QUICKNESS!!

as far as crimping gose... lookin at about $200-300 for a set of hand hel crimpers... look like bolt cutters... would be nice to have but god **** 200!!!! i have a crimp press in my vice... works great... just cant crimp in the vehicle!!!

usually to crip i will start of with a little punch and punch a dent into it, to keep the wire there while i hit it with a ball end hammer to crimp it down.
