what do you think of my system?

iv been wanting a system for my 97 montero sport for a while and i finally got up enough money to purchase one. Everything was purchased new, i bought them wholesale.....tell me what you think and also any suggestions!

pioneer deh 2300 h/u-$170

boss audio 1200 (600x2) amp-$150

2 12" pioneer impp subs w/box-$180

i know its not the best in the world but it'll do for now....it hits pretty hard for what i payed for it compared to other people's around my way. I'll probably replace the factory speakers in a month or two.

Boss amps have a poor reputation (especially on this message forum). The Pioneer HU and subs sound good though. An idea for a decent budget amp would be Profile, US Acoustics. Both are just a few dollars more than the Boss.

I bought my self a profile california mono amp rated at 300 watts rms at 4 ohms for $130 on sale ($150 reg.)at circuit city. For the price I am very very happy with it. If you are on a budget this would be a good amp for you.

I have to agree with what has already been mentioned..but If you have pioneer HU and subs why not use a Pioneer amp as well? They arent high dollar unless you get premier but they do sound good for an inexpensive amp..I have one and my buddy uses one..

Yeah, profile amps are really good for the money. Honestly, I would get a profile again..i had one. I just got my MTX cheap off a friend. But yeah, profile makes a **** good amp for the money.
