what do you think are the lowest end subs?

Powerbass has some low end subs. I think for like $22 each dealer cost

They do, but they also have those xxxl or what ever, and I don't want anyone to think they could even be remotely decent. kinda why I don't want to get lanzar because they make the opti subs that are decent same with some hifonics woofers, most are junk but they got a few and the old school ones were decent. So im really leaning towards Pyramid, Pyle, Boss

I found some Pyle power 15".. Maybe 2 of those? They have nice stitching !



Or three of the square 12"?



They handle 2000 watts bahaha

if you are going for lowest quality with high spl you gotta be talkin boss, id go with the 2500 watt 15s for 60 bucks, their 12s work too ig. Anyways, I had one of the dvc 15s hooked up to a 400 watt rated lightning audio amp at 2 ohms in a sealed box that was too small and it was as loud as 2 of the cheap twelves on 600 or 700 watts. I mean i don't see a whole lot out there crappier than what I described and honestly it made me laugh because i did not expect that sound out of it.

I'm really glad to see a local alberta guy trying to build a loud vehicle. The only thing about that is, I haven't seen a car audio competition in Alberta for a LONG time man. My friend Mike with Hertz Audio held I think it was the world record for one subwoofer at 160.3 db with a DD 18", but that was like over 10 years ago when there was actually competitions around here.

Is this going to be just a daily driver or do you plan on finding a competition ?

I would like to know, I want to compete.

It's so hard to get the tuning low with small subs. I did not like it, looked funny as *** tho.

Why don't you just go to a flea market and buy the cheapest stuff there? I have seen worse stuff than hifonics and Pyle at flea markets

JB Power center will have four in Edmonton

And then liquid audiored deer and the guys in Lethbridge will have 1 or 2 each

I've already built a wall in my metro.. She's getting up there, I'm doing a 151 legit sealed on the dash off 3kw right now.. I got 2 atomic 15's with the 818 motors and a pair of Stetsom 7k2d's for street max class, I haven't tossed the sStetsom back in to see what they are doing now, I'm kinda putting that car on hold till spring.. Wanna build a stereo in the Durango that's gonna tow the metro to shows LOL.

I haven't competed since 2003.. I remember the boys from hertz audio in red deer. Didn't he have a Volkswagen van?

I had a few cars on the go back then.. Street A and Street B.. Both got invited to world finals and also a super street 3-4 that I got up to 162.5.

I'm actually doing something simuilar this summer. but i'm keeping it no sub over 75 each (dealer cost) for 8 15's on my memphis mojo 4k. i was thinking AB TnT's or Memphis PR's

Job's power center holds their shows on the Fridays before the FX audio on Saturday and liquid audio is usually the next day on the Sundays.

Still waiting on the list of upcoming shows from grand prairie, camrose, barhead, and Lethbridge. There's 4 shows in Saskatchewan Saskatoon. DB Don was usually putting them on and its only like 2 1/2 hours from Edmonton
