what do you think about this setup?

im going to be building a new system for my 1997 2dr yukon.

on a bit of a budget so cant really afford super high quality

but im trying to have atleast decent sq but more spl

heres what i was thinking

4 qauntum audio Q10D4SPL

1 LANZAR VCT2610

any input would be greatly appreciated

well im going t be buying it in stages really. so w/e subs i deside on ill be building the enclosure while im saving for the subs. an the amp ill be purchasing first... i was thinking 600$ for the subs & amp

I would look for 1000-1500w to 2 subs.

2 OA 15"s (or similar subs) and a 2k rms amp would be waaayyy better in that large of a vehicle IMO. I started off with 2 15" CVR's tuned ~35 hz on a Hifonics BXI2006d amp and it would wang for my first setup

Used, B-Stock, Refurbished Amps, and MISC - SSA Car Audio Forum

^^^^ B-stock SA 12's would do far better and are in your budget. That's just buying new. I know for a fact there's tons of good used gear on forums in FL.... you could do really well with 600$ if you shop around.

Odds are if you see something FS in pawn shops and best buy it's average quality and overpriced... Actually type R is very good for what it is, but you can do better for the money. ONLY circumstance where I'd reccomend that is if a local shop was selling you them and would take care of you on customer service. If you're ordering online not worth it.

yea im looking to order them online. but if i can find something better for the $ thats where its at
