What do you guys use to apply deadening?

I had been using a regular old dynamat roller, and putty knifes for around the edges. It broke so Im gonna order a new one off ebay, any reccomendations for rollers? I may also build one myself. Ya, I agree with using a wooden roller. I used a plastic one on my last deadening job, and like 5 of them broke.

I use the regular wooden one when I can, all too often I can't get it in the area I need to so I have to use my fingers/thumbs. It's ok as long as you are using the better stuff. Works ok as long as you are using the good stuff (dynamat xtreme, SS damplifier pro, etc)
