i sold my amp to a guy around here locally. i helped him set it up in his car. he has a jl 12w7. we set the amp to do 1200watts at 14.4 volts. this was a day after he had set the amp with the gain all the way up, the bass boost all the way up and the ssf and lpf all out of wack. we rewired his w7 to .75ohm. now, a week later he says his sub is blown and that he wants his money back for the amp and that its my fault and hes gonna come take my subs if i dont refund him. he said that he took it to cartoys and they said that it blew because of how it was wired. now i know that he drives around with his sub full blast all day every day and that the wiring of the subs doesnt affect the sub, just the amp. i told him im not walmart and dont take returns and even if i did, i dont have the money to refund him.

u should of never helped some one like that. if u think u can talk with him ask him some basic questions. did u tuch the amp did u tuch your deck and see if u can trick him and see if he was full tilt on his deck. and let him know by goin all the way its bad etc etc. mayb see if u can get him to feel bad about fu ckin his sh it up. i have to ask u ready to fight if so dont worry just beat his ***. if you think he will hurt u or make some issues around where u live then work something out with him. your life is not worh a few $$ right?

some people will say f him dont worry about it. its a whole new ballgame when this person knows where he lives etc. i just think he needs to talk to this person and ask a few questions to get some info befor he does anything eles.

he doesnt know where i live. ****ing cartoys told him that the sub blew because we wired the sub down to .75ohms. after i told him you cant blow a sub by wiring it down and proved it to him, i think he is alittle more understanding. unlucky for him, my car seems to be a target of thieves lately so if it does get broken into, i have all his info for the cops whether it was him or not. wish i didnt have to meet with him to give him the bass remote wire though. not a fan of confrontation lately, but thats what the 9 is for
