Well guys, after a long time aching for bass in my car and lots of saving up and research, it's finally over. I just purchased two 12 inch Kicker CVR subs, a Lanzar Vibe 1800D amp, and a ported box. Do you guys think this will work out for me? I'm itching for some bass and I hope this will do it.

Now, there's only one more thing I need done. I can't do the installation myself, but I have a friend who claims he can. I don't have any wiring, and I'm not exactly sure what to buy and where to buy it. Can anyone guide me in the right direction with this. Thanks in advance.

Should be fine with a nice 4 guage wiring kit for that system unless you are planning on purchasing something more powerful, then I recommend 0/1g wire. I have Kicker hyperflex, but a lot of people say its overpriced. I would look into some welding wire and should be fine with that.

was that ported box built for your application or did you just buy a random prefabricated one.

Thirty bucks for 0/1 gauge kit.. some say its really 2 gauge but its still a great buy

Stick around here and ask questions...installing an amp and subs is really easy and you can do it in an hour or 2.

You'll need a wiring kit, and that's really all there is to it outside of running the wires.
