Right now I have 2 sets of polk ex357 5X7's (I know comps would be best but I dont have the money) 2 Cerwin Vega Hed 12's powered by a Visonik 1000 watt amp. and my head unit is a Kenwood mp-919. I Think In the next month Im going to get a single 12" Brahma. Am I going to notice a world of difference with the brahma. and also would It be a good idea to upgrade to a jbl 1200.

sounds like a good setup,

i really dont know alot about the brahmas BUT from what i have been reading on here

if you throw some good power to them and put them in a good box you should hear a big difference.

im his buddy and the polks sound pretty good. I would say they sound better than the average aftermarket brand. Go for it, there worth it.

I think the sound is great but the staging isnt the greatest since the mids and the highs are coming from the very bottom of my door panel, obviously components would give me a lot better staging but at 120 a pair when I bought them it was definitely worth it. I heard the Infinity kappas are also great 5x7's

Also I've got a question for you guys. my friend has two 12" RF power hx2's and a 600 watt Directed amp , I'm going to have a single 12" Adire Brahma powered by a Visonik 1000 watt amp.(I know its not the best amp but its what I've got) which system would you guys rather have. how bad will he beat me in spl. thanks.
