whining from the h/u

in my boat, i have had several decks. i am a huge eclipse fan, so that is mainly what i use. i just recently bought the 3422 from eclipse's line-up. never have i had a whining noise come from the deck itself. when the volume is turned down, and i rev the motor, it whines at the same pace as the motor. i cannot trace the noise to a certain location, but i think it is the alternator. anyone know what this is all about?

i had a noise like that....check the grounds on everything...its probably a ground loop. i tried everything...but once i bought a new head unit...it seemed to solve the problem

i have the whole system grounded to a power distributer, i would move it, but there is no onther place to ground it in a fiberglas boat

that might be the problem...or it might not be. the ground cable might be too long or thin

the ground cable is gauge, and it is maybe 1.5 ft long, would a perko switch or battery isolator be a problem, because i am running dual batteries.
