OP
I guess you have not heard about the palm pre?Overall, its a very cool concept, but its executed very poorly. If winblows mobile was better I would switch, however.. that whole operating system is a massive POS.
the palm pre is much better, can actually function as a phone and has the ability to do more than one thing at a time.I love the iphone all my life i've been waiting for a gadget just like this..
Growing up I had all kinds of PDAs like Casiopeia and HP Ipaq and none of them cut the mustard..
The iphone rocks...
People who spend time talking shit about Apple or the iPhone are ****ing pathetic and may as well just off themselves..
it's a gadget.. relax..
falseWhy would I change? this really is the only phone out there that can do all I need it to...
My 4 year old ipod begs to differ.theyre garbage. apple is garbage as well. theyre newest macbooks are outdated and you cant upgrade like you can with an HP or any other PC/Laptop. customer service is a joke and products seem destined to break within 6 months so you can go get the new thing out.
My 3 year old ipod has been having problems for more then a year. it has erased its self twice and freezes more then my NES. When It dies I plan on setting it on fire and never buying an apple product again. My 4 year old ipod begs to differ.
x2 or the palm treo 750I recommend the Palm Pre to anyone looking for a phone similar to the Iphone that will actually function as a phone and do everything the Iphone cannot such as multi-task.
I had an iphone, and now I have a palm pre... Did I miss something after I switched? One of the things that ticked me off, was not being able to have multiple programs open at the same time. I could have 10 plus programs running at the same time in my windows mobile phone, and when I switched to the iphone, I felt limited in the amount of things that I could do at the same time.. Can you really multi task now?I love mine Plus I can multi task //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i'd go w/ the 850 over the 750.x2 or the palm treo 750
no, the iphone cannot multi task.I had an iphone, and now I have a palm pre... Did I miss something after I switched? As for the palm pre, its able to have a music player running, while surfin the web, while writting or checking you email at the same time... Its missing some key functions, but that's expected from a phone that's in its first generation..it took the iphone 3 GEN's for the ability to record videoss, and to cut, copy, and paste... The user interface is new and sleek on the PRE, the iphones UI feels old. I know the iphone can do more than the PRE, but it has had a 3 year headstart.
As for the actual phone service, its perfect for me, I can't complain Sprint, I can count the amount of dropped calls that I've had this past year about 4 total, 1 with the PRE... I can't have a phone that drops calls, I have destroyed phones in the past for dropping calls (NEXTEL) and I thought Sprint was going to be the same as NEXTEL when I switched, but its completely different.
