What do you adjust first?

This question pounders me... and alot of people... its been almost 50 50 on this 2. so lets hear it!

Like everyone here... with a system there Setup is..

Cd player that connects up to the amp.. (DUH)

But on my cd player... (Pioneer) I can adjust the bass levels JUST for the sub... now which do you adjust first? CD player.... where all the sound starts at? And turn all of the bass up pretty high?

OR

Leave it at Deafult settings or semi up on the bass on the cd player ... but ALOT of it on the amp??

What are you talking about here; gain or bass boost on the amp?

i put the HU at about half then turn it up adjust your amp to what you want for daily driving so you can either go louder or less bass on the HU
