What do I need to ajust the gains from left to right

I guess this would be a sound q question I want to try to ajust the gain from left to right my ears are closer to the drivers side and I want to ajust the gains to match am I best to get a differant amp or a eq or a new cd player or what

You need to work with an eq, not with the amps gains.

easiest inexpensive way, imo, is with y-cables and bridging a 4 channel amp.

sounds to me you are trying to achieve something like time alignment. higher end alpine units as well as eclipse units are the only HU's ive had experience with that have TA options.

so to answer your question you are looking at a HU or EQ fix to your problem.

sounds to me like he's trying to adjust amplitude.

i was going to suggest to mess with the balance as well but since he mentioned his ears being closer and what not thats usually time alignment right?

a speaker being closer to the ears = louder. Thread starters here are never descriptive enough, so I answered his question to what he asked... how to adjust gains independently between left and right.
