What could be wrong?

ok i am at work i just went outside starting listening to my system and i turned it up and the bass knob up an all of a sudden you just here boooooooooooooooooom like not even playing with the music so i turn it down and it stops

what could it be help me out thanks alot

amp turnup to high??

bass knob turn up to high ?

sub sonic not set right??

bass boost not set right??

or something else?

when i turn the radio up with the bass the bass goes boooooooooooooom constant untill i turn it down and then it play regular with the bass then when i turn it up loud again it does it over again you do not understand what i am saying?

 
i went out and turned the bass boost all the way down turn up the bass knob and it started doing it again could it be the bass knob? sub sonic is turned 1/4 of the way up

 
hahaha. i had the same problem when i had my stock HU. everytime i would eject the cd it would keep making that noise till i turn on the radio or put in a new cd. once i got a new HU it went away, cant really help you there but i know what you're talking about

well it can't be the head unit it it is brand new and the amps are brand new the subs are brand new the battery is brand new the wire all is brand new well lets just say everyhting is brand new

 
i am takeing about the bass makeing the noise

i turn the music up and it has a little bass but then when i turn the bass knob up it just starts going boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom like bassing out full tilt but then when i turn the radio down it stops when this is doing this i also can here the music but the bass just does not go to the music it just like boooooooooooom lol WTF

when i leave work i am gunna un hook the bass knob and see if that is the problem

if it usually didn't do that then I might start checking something that might be loose like the ground, the the RCA's even the remote wire. have you tried it with the car on

then thats the problem, obviously something is not connected right.

I love troubleshooting be cautious though. I would start with the easiest thing to get to like the amp then the sub(maybe when you put the sub in the wire going across the voice coils might be touching something) then the HU

yeah but earlyer it was not doing this
