What components would you buy for $1000 or less. Zapco,Focal, or what?

I disagree, I like my women to be passive. They give it to me when I want, however I want it, with no *****ing or sound.
reminds me of that scene in that movie, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"

CDT ES-062i GOLD

The upper midrange is somewhat mellower than the classic type 6.5". Response is fast tight and powerful and very smooth.

Bravox Audio CS60CF

The upper midrange is smoother than the classic type 6.5" with the tweeter response softer at higher volumes. Response is crisp, powerful and very clear.

I have a set of Zapco CK 16.2's (top of the line Zapco's) and selling them for half of what you're looking to spend. Since you need 2, there is a guy on the DIYMA forum selling the pair of mids and one of the tweeters from the set, and I believe it would come out to less than 1k.
