This is the box i'm designing to go inbetween my 2nd row captains seats in the hoe.

It's for a 12" XXXer.

What cha think?? It's real close to the exact dimensions.

The curvy part isn't exactly how i want it, but it came close.

The sides will be MDF, and the rest Fiberglassed. Might MDF the bottom too, not sure yet.

Where should i put the port? Top? below sub? Out back?

This is the reason why i want to make sure i buy enough materials the FIRST time.

From lowest point to highest, it's about ..... 30"

From fron to back about..... 40"

10" wide in the majority of it.

i'd do the port something like this.....

you generally want to keep the port and the sub on the same side, w/ a few exceptions (CRX box being one)

not really that hard, just cut the 2 outside peices and the bottom and front baffle, then fiberglass the top part

12" ring on the front... its fiberglass, it's not really that hard

Yea what jelly said.

Only the widest part of the sub is 12.5" actually, then it drops down to like 11 1/8 after 1", then even less as u go down the sub. So it's not untill i'm really 5" into the box where the FIXED 10" comes into play.

So untill then the ring will be fiberglassed outside the 10" width the ength until the sub can fit between....get it?

What about below the sub? Like Right below it? - ofcourse i'd raise the ring up

Or straight out the top like a chimney??

I just dont wanna take up too much more volume, rather use a exsisting wall as one of the port walls.
