My fiancee just bought a toyota yaris. they are newer so they are alittle out of your price range but she bought hers brand new for $12.5k. Gets 43mpg on the highway and about 35mpg in town with the auto transmission. Hatchback available also.

Cruised on on that retard a week or so ago. Once I got to the side of him he started revving his shit like it was a beast. I dropped it into 2nd at around 50mph and took off. He stopped acting hard after that. He wouldn't even pull all the way up to me at the light, just kinda stayed back.

Look for a sixth gen. ('96-00) Civic hatch. For $5k, one with very little miles, and super clean can be found.
espechially around here in utah. there are BILLION'S around here..

trev just picked up a honda coupe with allot of nice mod's done to it for 4,500

i see allot! allot! of civic's around here for under 5k

shit i paid 5,500 for my integra.

as far as a ford focus.. i think ford ****'s

and V.W.'s are nice. just a ***** to work on sometimes.

and expensive to fix.

nope, 2006 F-150
and no i dont hang out in the trap.
ride in/ drive anything Ford

Well thats good to hear. They also sell for a really good price I would be able to get a fairly new one a 2006.
I have yet to see a Ford Focus 2005 and up sell for under 5k. They usually are 8-12 around here in Ohio, unless you want a striped down S or one with a ton of miles on it.

I have a 2006 ST Focus and love it to death. Almost traded it on a new Focus, but yeah, I don't think so. Like the interior, hate how slow it is and they don't have the ST version anymore.

They are good cars IMO and will last if taken care of. I have over 40k on mine right now and not one problem with it. Just change the oil/filters and and other basic shit and been good to go. One of my ex's had a hatch Focus and had 170,000 miles on it with no major problems with it. She then traded it for a blazer and 2 months later totaled it, lol!

The hatches do get loud to boot, so you will like it for that. Also not bad on gas either, but mine isn't your normal Focus, so it is just meh on the gas.

Good luck!
